The basicsWelcome to the basics! If you are here, it may be because the editor can be confusing at first. Take a look below to learn how to get started. To see it all in action, jump to the video below!
What you are looking atThere are two major sections that you should see in front of you, the toolbar, and the work space.
Toolbar - This is where you will get all of your page elements, or the content of your website. Work Space - This is where you will put the elements within your website. What are Elements?Elements are what populate your website. They can be text, images, and even videos. Any content that goes into your website will be contained in an element.
Above you see some of the elements from the toolbar that you can place into your work space.
Below you see a few examples of elements within the work space, such as a Paragraph with Picture element, and an RSS Feed element. About The ToolbarAs you can see, the toolbar contains a few tabs. The one you will be working with the most is the Elements tab. This tab contains all of the things you will need to put content on your website.
You use the elements by clicking one, such as Title, and dragging and dropping it wherever you want within your work space.
about the Work SpaceWhen you drag and drop an element into the work space, you will by guided by an orange line. This tells you where the element will go when you drop it onto the work space.
Move your mouse over the new element and notice that it is contained in a blue box. You can move the placement of you element by clicking and dragging the top of the blue box.
See it all togetherIn the video, I didn't cover dragging an element, but showed how to remove an unwanted one.
